Pasta Pigout:Limited number, so register early. Don’t miss out on the best pre-race meal ever! This is the motherlode of carbo loads! For $8.00, each runner can reserve a great pasta meal, but you must register on the entry form to ensure your dinner. (Non-runner can eat for $12.00)

Street Party: We are having a rockin’ pasta party at the Anniston School. Runners and friends will enjoy a great band while eating their meals, and listening to good music – a relaxing time before the pre-race jitters set in.

Woodstock trophies will be given to the top three finishers, male and female, in each age category:

Race Highlights:

• There are cash prizes again this year totaling $3,400, which include masters and up.
• Back agaib this year: Bonus Bucks! $et a new record – win $500!
  An extra incentive for speedsters – $500 to the overall male and/or female who sets a new course record (in addition to the overall first place cash prize of $500)
  Current course records are: Male 14:24 and Female 17:12
• We have expanded the Team Challenge to FIVE categories. More categories. More awards.
• There will still be a great pasta dinner the night before, but we have included a small fee for runners ($8) and non-runners ($12) this year. And we have expanded the pre-race event making it a blocked streetparty! Complete with a band.
• You will get a fantastic technical performance t-shirt – much softer and lighter than last year.
• There will still be a kids’ 1 mile run/walk – Kidstock! And it will have professional timing, too.
• We will still have the Clydesdale/Athena category. (200 pounds for men/150 pounds for women)
• We will have more door prizes than ever and the best post-race food/party around! (Think Waffle House and Mellow Mushroom)
• USATF Certified 5K Course [Course Map].
• AND we will have the coveted bobblehead trophies.

EVENT DETAILS – Got Creek? 5K is not your typical race. Surface is mostly grass, with some pavement trails. There is a creek to be crossed multiple times over the course. The Oak Mountain High School annual cross country invitational will take place at 8:30 a.m. so stick around and watch the action. High School Teams will be represented from across Birmingham, the state of Alabama and the Southeast. OMRC supporting the Oak Mountain School running programs.

Bib Number Transfer and Cancellation Policy:

There are No refunds or bib number transfers of registration. This event will occur rain or shine warm or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to Rumpshaker, Benefiting Colon Cancer Awareness.

Stroller Policy:

We believe a fit family is a happy family and allow strollers on our course. However, we do have some requirements: you must start in the back, you may not weave through packs of runners, and you must always yield the right of way to other runners.

Pet Policy:

Pets will not be allowed.
