Last Chance Dog Rescue of Alabama:
There’s a rescue tucked away in the heart of northern Alabama that must close its doors in the next several weeks. The woman who runs the rescue is 76 years old and can no longer keep up with all the dogs and cats that flood her property weekly. The nearby local shelter is high-kill, and Moulton rescue has served as an “overflow” outlet for many years. Last Chance Dog Rescue Alabama is working to get all the dogs and cats vetted and transferred either to other rescues or forever homes Only half the animals have been altered, all need rabies/bordatella/deworming. The puppies need to finish off their boosters, and they need a place to be quarantined. We also need financial assistance with transport fees. We are asking you to help an amazing woman who has rescued over 8,000 animals in her lifetime but is now in failing health. Please help these dogs and cats get a chance to find rescue or forever homes. There are over 50 animals, this is a big undertaking, and we need all the help we can get. There is NO WAY our small rescue can financially support this effort without your assistance. If you value animal rescue and want to insure these dogs and cats do not have to return to the nearby high-kill shelter from which they came, PLEASE DONATE TODAY TO HELP US SAVE THESE ANIMALS!! (PHOTOS of the animals appear on the link below.
